LORD'S GYM KIDS MUD RUN
The Lord's Gym Kids Mud Run is a special obstacle race open to all kids ages 4-12. The course is under a mile long with 20+ obstacles involving climbing, crawling, running and, of course, lots of mud! The race is split into heats with two age groups, 4-6 and 7-12, with a longer, tougher race for the older kids and a shorter race for the younger kids. We also run a special competition between schools known as the Superhero School Bell.
The course start line is located on our property at 3556 Oro Bangor Hwy, Oroville CA. The Lord's Gym Kids Mud Run will take place in June 2020.
With the help of our sponsors, we are able to make the Lord's Gym Kids Run FREE to everyone who registers online before June 1st. We want to support local families and create an event everyone can afford! However, please note space is limited and heats sell out fast.

KIDS RUN FAQS
When And Where Is The Race?
This year's race is on Saturday, June 6 with heats running from 9 am to 3 pm. The Kids Mud Run starts and finishes on our property at 3556 Oro Bangor Highway, Oroville, CA. The race is divided into heats of 50-70 kids leaving every 10 minutes. There are separate heats (and courses) for ages 4-6 and 7-12. You'll find all the details on our registration page here.
How Much Does It Cost?
The Kids Mud Run is free! There will also be food, inflatables and carnival-style attractions available at an extra cost to raise money to support the mission of the Lord's Gym.
What Is The Course Like?
The Kids Run is under a mile long and includes 20+ obstacles including climbing, crawling, jumping and lots of mud! We separate the races into two different age categories to make sure the course is age-appropriate. We've also extended the course for 7-12 year olds to include some obstacles from the adult course!
Can I Run With My Kids?
If your child is 4 or 5 years old, the course is shorter and we HIGHLY recommend a parent to run with the child. However, if your child is age 7+ you will not be allowed to race with them. We may make exceptions for children with special needs - just talk to the race coordinator at the start line.
Can Siblings Of Different Ages Run Together?
Unfortunately, in order to ensure the safety of all the children involved, we cannot allow older children to run in a younger age race (or vice versa). We may make exceptions for children with special needs.
How Do I Register?

Every year, we invite local schools to compete against each other in the Superhero School Bell! Students win points for their school by participating in the Kids Run and by wearing costumes or dressing in their school colors.
In the Superhero School Bell 2019, Helen Wilcox won the most points and won the School Bell trophy plus free Yoville frozen yogurt for the entire school! Ophir Elementary School came in second place and Stanford Avenue won the third place; they won their own trophies and get to keep them in their schools for one year.
